Jones Barbeque has been serving up The Jones family’s roots trace back to Arkadelphia, Arkansas, nestled in the foothills of the Ouachita Mountains. In the 1950s, during segregation, the family’s grandparents left Arkansas and made their way to Seattle, Washington, bringing treasured Southern recipes, traditions, and a love of good food with them.
OUR STORY
They passed those traditions down to their son, William Jones III, who built a life centered around faith, family, and service. William served his community as a Lieutenant with the Seattle Fire Department and as a Pentecostal pastor. Whether he was cooking at the fire station, church, or community gatherings, William became known for his barbecue—and especially for the signature sauce he spent years perfecting. Friends, family, and neighbors continually encouraged him to share it with more people.
In 1989, he did just that

Jones Original Barbeque was born. For more than three decades, the Jones family has proudly served Seattle and the surrounding communities, carrying forward recipes and traditions passed from one generation to the next.
